Default foetus party
Foetus parties show "commercialisation" of pregnancy, says top midwife - Yahoo! Lifestyle UK

I can't see a problem here.

I've only just seen this thread JL

It's a new one on me all this and unlike you, I do see a problem! Don't you find it incredibly tacky and disrespectful of the process of gestation and motherhood?

I read in the Guardian the other day that they were going to start advertising abortion clinics....that's fucking sick....anything to make money eh?

There is nothing that some won't resort to in order to make a few quid. It shows what type of a society we have become. While i'm not getting into the abortion issue here as it deserves a thread of its own it says a lot about those who control advertising and the media that they would even go down these roads.

Its like the Americans baby shower with extras and having lost a baby really late into pregnancy and my ex sister-in-law losing a baby during child birth, its not something I would do.

Yes DT and Tinks, It's surely more decent to postpone all this 'crass obviousness' until the baby is safely delivered

I was quite cautious and never had the pram inthe hosue etc when I was having my daughter, but I did show my scan pictures. People ask and I thought it was rude not to. I dont think they had the 3D scans nearly nine years ago, but I would not have paid the money for one anyway.

Anyway I was told at eighteen weeks I was having a girl via a normal scan, which I had on a regular babies because I had lost three babies before.
