TRuthy, what news do you trust?

I tend to trust independent bloggers and independent media sources far more than the proven liars of the mainstream media.

Why?

And...which ones.

Because the mainstream media has continuosly plied us with lies and disinformation for years. They do not tell the truth and do not work to educate the masses, they work for the interests of the rich and always have done. I worked for many years for a state owned car manufacturer and I saw at first hand the lies that were being fed to the public by the media about the workforce and the role of the unions.

As far as journalists go John Pilger is one of my favourites. I have been aware of his work for several decades now and he is often proved right. Despite appearing in numerous mainstream media outlets he still maintains an independent stance and speaks up for the oppressed.

There are numerous independent media outlets Yankee, too many to name, they tell the stories that the main ones don't and won't. There are a lot of very good sources on the web. Indymedia is one of them.
